ROYTONIANS enhanced their promotion push with an emphatic win over Saddleworth thirds in division two of the Site Electrical North Manchester League.

They command from the word go, dismissing the Well-i-Hole outfit for only 40.

Roytonians lost two wickets before reaching their goal and now fourth in the table, two points adrift of second-placed Prestwich thirds.

Littleborough thirds are 17 points clear at the top of the table.

Fifth-placed Springhead seconds also have an eye on promotion in division four.

They were too strong for Uppermill thirds at Leafields. After limiting the home side to 124 for eight, they achieved victory for the loss of six wickets.
