Chadderton’s hopes of celebrating their 1,000th match in the North West Counties League with a win were dashed last night.
Chadderton, founder members of the league, were beaten 1-0 at home by Leek CSOB, for whom James Sheldon grabbed the only goal on the stroke of half-time.=
