MARY Buckley triumphed in Lady Vice-Captain’s Prize at OLDHAM after an 18-hole play off in the major.
Buckley and Liz Johnson both returned 39 points in the Stableford to force an extra round which she won by 32 points to 28.
Jane Fletcher finished first in Mr Captain’s Prize, which was also an EWGA medal at WERNETH.
Sheila Whittingham (93-23-70) took the first division sweep from Fiona Dooley (76-4-72).
The second division sweep went to Gail Rowbotham (109-34-75) from second-placed Christine Moon (115-36-79).
The final round of Mrs Captain’s Prize at BLACKLEY saw Anne Tyrer emerge the victor after a round of 88-24-64.
She finished well clear of runner-up Jean Meehan (89-21-68) and third-placed Linda Allen (97-26-71).
Eileen Moores and Pam Taylor won the Daily Mail Foursomes qualifier at SADDLEWORTH with a round of 94-21.5-72.5, comfortably seeing off the challenge of Sue Knebel and Ann Allen (100-22.5-77.5).
