Saddleworth and District Cricket League chairman Eddie Bayliss (left) and Iain Johnston, of sponsors 20-20 Vision (Uppermill), were on hand to make the Twenty20 draw.
AUSTERLANDS, the hosts, have been drawn against Uppermill (1.30pm) in the semi-finals of the Twenty20 Cup on Sunday, August 30.
The tie follows the other last-four tie between Glodwick and Heyside, which gets under way at 10.30am. The final is due to start at 4.30pm.
GARY KERSHAW is out for the season after damaging knee ligaments while in France.
The Friarmere captain looked on from the sidelines as the West View outfit recorded an excellent five-wicket success over Saddleworth last weekend.
With wicketkeeper Andy Walker also unavailable, Craig Ramadhin took over the reins against Peter Skuse’s side who are chasing second place in the table.
