Roytonians moving in the right direction

ROYTONIANS have moved into third place in division two of the Site Electrical North Manchester League.
After being restricted to 170 by Rochdale thirds, they then dismissed their opponents for 125.
Saddleworth thirds also tasted victory. They made 164 for eight against their Clifton counterparts, who crashed to 124 all out in reply.
But lowly Failsworth Macedonia seconds were beaten by East Lancs PM seconds.
Failsworth Macedonia firsts are second-from-bottom in division one after a five-wicket defeat by East Lancs PM, while Springhead were thumped by eight wickets by Tottington St Johns.
On a more positive note, Greenfield thirds overcame Thornham thirds by 55 runs in division three, and Uppermill enjoyed a 69-runs victory against Ashton Ladysmith seconds in division four.
Division one: Failsworth Macedonia 147, East Lancs PM 148-5; Springhead 85, Tottington St Johns 89-2.
Division two: Failsworth Macedonia IIs 115, East Lancs PM IIs 116-4.
Division four: Uppermill IIIs 185, Ashton Ladysmith IIs 116.
