CHADDERTON will have a depleted side for tonight’s FA Cup extra-preliminary round replay at Atherton Collieries.
Captain and influential central defender Mark Egerton, Chris Pauley, Ben Greenidge and Dave Glynn could all be unavailable.
Saturday’s game ended 2-2 as Chadderton twice came from behind thanks to Danny Bell and Pauley.
Chadderton reserves won 1-0 at Atherton LR through a Clive Best goal.
OLDHAM TOWN made an early FA Cup exit, losing 2-1 at Nostell Miners Welfare.
After going two goals down, Town pulled one back through Darren Scanlan and were unlucky not to level in a frantic final ten minutes.
MOSSLEY made the perfect start to their UniBond League division one north campaign, winning 1-0 at Garforth Town.
The match-winning goal came in the 17th minute on the break when Jordan Goodeve released Danny Dignan who raced clear to slot the ball low past keeper Tom Morgan.
And with almost the last action of the match, keeper Peter Collinge was Mossley’s hero, saving Andy Hayward’s penalty.
