Rain halts play

RAIN meant only one match was played to a finish in division one of the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League on Saturday.
Ian Hague hit 50 and Steve Holmes helped himself to six for 73 as Saddleworth defeated Hollinwood by 38 runs, a result which lifted Peter Skuse’s side to third place in division one.
