DELPH were saved from almost-certain defeat at home to Meltham in premiership one of the Drakes Huddersfield League.
The visitors were 28 for one, chasing just 95 to win, when the wet weather arrived.
Delph had to play second fiddle to Skelmanthorpe on Saturday.
In reply to the hosts’ 180 for eight, Grant Jones’ side succumbed to 140 all out. The skipper was unbeaten on 35 at the death.
