THE Oldham and District Table Tennis season launched this week with a total of 250 players registered on 55 teams competing in the four divisions.
There are 21 different clubs in the league this season, including newcomers Counthill and Glodwick Sports Academy.
The junior coaching being undertaken by the league under coaching and development officer John Flowers and his team, is bearing fruit, reflected in the total of 29 juniors registered for the new campaign.

Handbook changes: Werneth B team match night in Division 1 is Thursday. Owls B match night in Division 4 is now Monday.
