DELPH completed their Drakes Huddersfield League season on a high.
They defeated Golcar by eight wickets, thanks to a fine all-round display from Irfan Zahoor.
He took four for 41 in the home side’s total of 114, before making a quick-fire 69.
Delph finished fourth in premiership one, 21 points adrift of champions Scholes.
The second XI crushed Linthwaite by 289 runs.
Mick Horton hit exactly 100 and Tom Wood weighed in with 89 as Delph amassed 325 for eight.
Mark Lilley returned superb figures of six for five in Linthwaite’s paltry reply of 34.
