SNOOKER: Oldham Snooker Academy ‘A’ defeated Staly Vegas ‘A’ 5-2 in the Manchester Snooker League after wins from England international Michael Wild, Craig Atherton and Sajid Zamurd.
They also picked up two points for the aggregate.
The ‘B’ team recorded an emphatic 6-1 victory over Benchill Conservative Club (Wythenshawe). Oldham’s winners, Kamran Saeed, Tanvir Hussain, Mohammed Ehsan and Naveed Mohammed, also took the aggregate points.
