SHAW Rovers broke their duck for the Ashton Sunday League season by hitting Khartoum Northern for six,
Bottom of the table and without a point in three previous attempts, Rovers finally came good with a 6-4 win.
Moston Labour Club maintained their three-point lead after a narrow 3-2 victory at Charlestown, while nearest challengers Warwick United overcame Kippax 6-3.
In the other fixture, Golden Buck swept aside Dog and Partridge 7-2.
