Rangers aiming to be six-hits

SADDLEWORTH Rangers aim up for six wins from six when the team travels to play Normanton Knights tomorrow (2.30pm kick off).
Having seen off Thatto Heath 16-12 at Shaw Hall Bank Road last week, Keith Brennan’s men are on the road in National Conference League division one for only the second time this season.
Top-of-the-table Rangers will hope to maintain the 100-per-cent record which remained intact against Thatto despite the absence of key trio Jason Best, Michael Coates and Fraser Coley.
Coates is back this week, as is Michael Rowe.
In division two, Oldham St Anne’s are away at Castleford Lock Lane (2.30pm) in a testing clash for Mick Cashin’s side.
Jordan White, who starred for Lancashire’s under-19s last week, is likely to start at scrum-half in place of injured Steve McHugh, but Saints will now have to do without the promising Arrowsmith twins who have left to go to university.
Andy Wallace and David Cookson could both come back into the side.
Waterhead are looking to build on last week’s impressive 50-10 division two win over Egremont by beating Oveden, again on home soil.
Keiran Grennan and Alan Williamson are doubtful with rib injuries and Craig Highton and Will Schofield are again missing for Mick Slicker’s side, for whom Terry Fitzgerald will be aiming to keep up the sort of form which saw him score four tries against the Cumbrians a week ago.
