Lark Inn took their goals tally for the season to 22 after they swept aside Limeside Athletic ‘B’ 8-0, while Oldham United and Old Grey Mare fought out a 5-5 draw.
And the goals flowed in the Springhead Libs versus North Star clash, the former posting a 4-1 win.
Khartoum Northern joined High Crompton CC, who were without a fixture, at the top of the Jack Abbott premier division after a 2-1 win over Failsworth Dynamos.
FC Royton, FC Broadgate and Chaddy End remain in a tie for third place after they all recorded victories — Royton recorded an 8-2 win at Hunt Lane Tavern — while Lowerhouse United ‘A’ defeated Failsworth Athletic 4-1 to move away from the bottom three.
