SHAW Rovers were unable to halt the Warwick United juggernaut in the Ashton Sunday League.
Rovers, rooted to the bottom of the table, were beaten 7-2 by United, who were recording their fifth straight win of the season.
Moston Labour Club, in second on goal difference, enjoyed a 5-0 success over Khartoum Northern.
There were plenty of goals in the game between Home Guard and Kippax.
S Cooke scored four times as the former triumphed 6-5 to go fourth in the table.
Meanwhile, Golden Buck are through to the next round of the County Cup after goals from Blundell (two), Parkinson and Yates clinched a 4-3 win over Worsley.
