Hollinwood stay rooted to bottom
Date published: 29 October 2009
HOLLINWOOD produced another poor display in division four, losing 28-6 away to Keighley Albion 'A' to stay bottom of the table without a point from seven matches played.
The big home side were allowed to move up quickly in defence and forced Hollinwood to play one-man rugby.
Despite the efforts of man-of-the-match Mark Johnson and his twin Paul, there was no appetite for the work needed to halt the charging run of the Keighley forwards in a disappointing display.
Alan Dalton's performance was another highlight, as he rolled back the years to set a big example on both attack and defence.
Hollinwood's only try came through Alistair Williams out wide, with the conversion nailed by Darren Cooper in front of the posts after the home side were penalised for disputing the score.
