Curley aims to be an instant hit

NEW-BOY James Curley will go straight into the Chadderton line-up for tomorrow’s Vodkat North-West Counties League division one clash at leaders Stone Dominoes.
The striker was snapped up by the Broadway outfit just days after he was a victim of Tony Mills’ mini clear-out at local rivals Oldham Town.
Curley, who spent the early part of the season at Glossop, put pen to paper on Wednesday.
Mossley centre-backs Ben Greenidge and Mark Edgerton and midfield man Gaz Morris are absent tomorrow.
Greenidge and Morris complete three-match bans. Captain Edgerton has work commitments, but is then suspended until after Christmas.
CRISIS club Oldham Boro are hoping for a much-needed lift when they entertain Atherton Collieries in NWCL division one tomorrow.
It’s been a fraught week at the Whitebank Stadium, with officials spending the last few days clearing up after a break-in at the club.
Town have gone six games without a win, but they face a side who sit just two places above them in 12th.
“We beat them 1-0 in the first match of the season but, if I’m being honest, they were probably the better side,” said Mills, who has trimmed his squad to 16 players.
“A win in any shape or form will do at the moment, so another 1-0 would be fine.”
