SADDLEWORTH Rangers won 52-12 at Heworth in National Conference League division one, with Tom Lever scoring a hat-trick of tries.
In division two, the game between Shaw Cross and Oldham St Anne’s was postponed, while Waterhead went down 24-8 at home to Castleford Lock Lane, Chris Hough scoring the home team’s only try.
OLDHAM Rugby Union first team failed to cash in on a lively start as they slipped to a 32-7 home defeat against Workington in the North Lancs/Cumbria division.
