AMATEUR RUGBY LEAGUE: OLDHAM St Anne’s have taken over top spot in the Rugby Oldham Amateur Club Challenge for season 2009/10.
Saints reached the summit thanks to a superb 50–0 triumph over East Leeds.
Mick Cashin’s side are averaging more 40 points a game in National Conference League division two and, with nine wins out 10, they are hot on the heels of table-toppers Eccles.
Saddleworth Rangers slipped to second place in the latest Club Challenge standings despite a 16-14 victory over West Bowling in NCL division one.
