Ace Brooks leads the way for Buck

AMATEUR FOOTBALL: GOLDEN Buck, from the Ashton Sunday League, are through to the next stage of the FA Sunday County Cup.
Brooks (two), Siddall and Yates got the goals in a 4-2 defeat of Kingsway.
Two games went ahead in the league, where Moston Labour Club overcame Shaw Rovers 1-0 and Home Guard recorded a 3-2 win at Warwick United.

HELEN SMITH went nap as Heyside Ladies turned on the style against Republica International in the West Riding Women’s League.
Hot-shot Smith scored five times and Rachel McHugh got the other in the 6-2 triumph.
Smith is a two-goal hit
AIMEE SMITH scored twice as Ashton United Ladies overcame Barrhill Ladies 4-2 in the Cheshire and Manchester Women’s League.
Also on target for United were Hayley Hardy and Rachel Jones.
