AMATEUR RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers suffered a blow to their National Conference League division one title ambitions by losing 16-6 away at Rochdale Mayfield.
On a bad afternoon for local sides, Oldham St Anne's lost out 22-18 in an exciting clash away at top-of-the-table Eccles to stay tucked in behind the leaders in division two. Waterhead's home match against Crosfields was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Oldham Rugby Union first team lost 35-3 at Heaton Moor.
