Team bounces back

SQUASH: Tame Valley’s first team bounced back to winning ways by defeating Markland Hill 1sts 4-1 in the North West Counties Squash League Division 3 North East.

Jamie Maddox, Amir Manachouri, Dave Swallow and Barry Stringer were all successful.

The seconds beat Cheetham Hill 2nds 3-2 thanks to Graham Hall, Wayne Smith and Steve Buxton, while the thirds had Steve Brannan, Eric Buchannan, Andrew Bailey and Richard Green on the mark in a 4-1 win over Cheetham Hill 3rds.

The fourths beat David Lloyd Bolton 2nds 5-0.
