OLDHAM’S Peter Connolly was man-of-the-match for Lancashire Greater Manchester County ‘A’ team as they took on Cambridgeshire in the Inter Counties Premier Division Championship, registering a three-dart average of 83.75.

In the women’s ‘A’ team event, local mother-and-daughter duo Janet Fox and Shereen Downs won 3-1 and 3-0 respectively.

Oldham men’s Super Eights team - top of the table by three points - take on Rochdale Borough at the Flowerpot Inn, on Sunday (12.30), while the women play Little Lever.
