Rangers stay out in front

AMATEUR RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers kept hold of top position in National Conference League division one with a 30-6 home victory over Milford Marlins.
In division two, Oldham St Anne’s saw off visiting Ovenden 24–6 but Waterhead lost 46-0 away at Egremont Rangers.
At rugby union, Oldham officials were annoyed after travelling all the way up to Keswick for their North Lancs/Cumbria Division match only to find the pitch unplayable due to frost.
