Tame Valley cruise to a win

Tame Valley’s first team ended the first half of the North West Counties League season in festive mood, beating City of Manchester 3rd to record their third consecutive 4-1 victory.

Jamie Maddox, Amir Manachouri, Dave Swallow and Steve Buxton earned Valley’s points.

The seconds suffered their second successive 3-2 defeat, Graham Hall and Andrew Bailey their winners against Rochdale 4th, while the thirds crashed 5-0 to Lancs Health & Racquets 3rd.

Derek Leyland and Amanda Maddox won for the fourths but they lost 3-2 to Fairways Lodge 6th.
