Mossley slip to defeat
Date published: 16 December 2009
MOSSLEY suffered a 4-1 reverse at Salford City in UniBond League division one north last night.
Chris Willcock’s side, who had defender Sam Walker sent off, were three goals adrift by half-time. Former Mossley man Rhodri Giggs (30 minutes, penalty), Craig Mahon and a Tom Spearitt own goal did the damage.
Leading scorer Matty Kay pulled one back for Mossley in the 70th minute, but hopes of a comeback were dashed when Dave Neville added a fourth for the Moor Lane outfit.
