Tough test in store for young Oldham

RUGBY UNION: OLDHAM Rugby Union face a tough assignment tomorrow (2pm) when they play host to league leaders Wigton in the North Lancs/Cumbria division.

The Manor Park outfit feel they have improved since losing 36-0 at Wigton earlier in the season.

However, they will have to be at their best against a visiting side boasting a strong set of forwards.

Oldham keep faith with the squad which made a fruitless journey to Keswick last weekend — the match was called off due to a frozen pitch — and they also welcome back Adam Waterhouse to a group of players with an average age of just under 22.
