There’s no escape indoors

EVEN the OIdham Cricket Development Group Indoor League couldn’t escape the cold snap.
The under-11s competition was set to start tonight, but it has been put back a week because of the difficulty in travelling to the venues.
The league will get under way on Friday, January 15, with matches split between the Oldham Sports Centre and the Millennium Centre.
“Considering the conditions and the forecast, it was the sensible thing to do,” said organiser Chris Highton.
