ALL SMILES: Ginny Willey and Mick Flatley flank Middleton Harriers president Jack Kirk.
ATHLETICS: MICK FLATLEY and Ginny Willey once again proved they are streets ahead of their rivals at Middleton Harriers.
For the fifth consecutive year, Flatley, from High Crompton, and Willey, from Chadderton, retained their unblemished records in both the road-race and fell-race annual championships.
The duo’s successes were among those honoured at the club’s 29th annual dinner and presentation night at the Ratcliffe Arms, Rochdale.
They received their awards from Harriers’ president Jack Kirk and chairman Roy Lee.
Mr Kirk said: “Ginny and Mick are an inspiration to their fellow club members.
“They are modest in their own successes and always supportive of fellow members.”
