Springbank back in command

SPRINGBANK returned to the top of the Inbev Winter Bowling League’s ‘A’ Division following an 8-3 victory over host club Chadderton Cot.

Royle bounced back from some recent reverses to beat Hopwood 7-4, while New Street edged out Nimble Nook 6-5.

Lees/Springhead strengthened their position at the top of the ‘B’ Division with a 9-2 defeat of Dogwood, while there were also wins for second-placed North Chadderton and fourth-placed Lower Failsworth.
