Victory joy for Valley

SQUASH:


TAME Valley firsts, with wins from Jamie Maddox, Dave Swallow and Steve Buxton, overcame David Lloyd Manchester firsts 3-2 in the North-West Counties Squash League.

Gary Buxton, Wayne Smith, Mike Donahue and Graham Hall were victorious for the second string in a 4-1 defeat of their David Lloyd Manchester counterparts, but the thirds were beaten 4-1 by Cheetham Hill seconds. Eric Buchannan recorded Tame Valley’s only win.

And the fourths lost 3-2 against David Lloyd Bolton firsts. Rod Humphries and Nigel Young were the successful duo.
