Moss go eight points clear

SNOOKER:

MOSS INN B are eight points clear at the top the Chadderton Snooker League, sponsored by Oldham Snooker Centre and Steakhouse, after a 4-2 win against Royton Cons, with Mick Webb compiling a 33 break.

Alex Bamford (Royton Cons) was also in fine form with a 39 break against Mick Dickinson.

Fourth-placed Shaw Road have steadily moved into prize-winning contention and recorded a 5-1 win over Moss Inn A. M. Davies cleared the last red and black with all the colours for a 35 clearance in the fourth frame.
