NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON face four games in 10 days in the Vodkat North-West Counties League, starting with tomorrow’s trip to Norton United.

The Broadway team are at home to Barnoldswick Town on Monday night, they are at AFC Blackpool in the last eight of the League Cup the following Saturday and visit Atherton Collieries two day later.

Chadderton are looking to return to winning ways after a defeat and a draw in their last two games.

Striker Leon Melia is a doubt after picking up a calf injury in the 2-2 draw against Oldham Boro on Tuesday night, while manager Paul Buckley will also check on midfielder Gaz Morris, who suffered concussion in the derby clash.

OLDHAM Boro, on a roll after a run of four matches unbeaten, are also on their travels in NWCL division one.

The Whitebank Stadium outfit are away to fifth-placed Irlam, who haven’t given up hope of title glory.

“They are a very good side,” said Boro boss Tony Mills. “But we are on a mini-run and are playing some half-decent stuff.

“We held Stone Dominoes, who are top, to a draw, so there is no reason why we can’t get something out of the game.”

MOSSLEY welcome UniBond League division one north play-off pretenders Clitheroe to Seel Park tomorrow (2pm).
