Mossley double
Date published: 03 March 2010
NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Mossley completed a UniBond League division one north double over Bamber Bridge with a 2-1 win at Irongate last night.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, right wing-back James Heywood sweeping the ball home from 10 yards.
But Mossley were level on the half-hour mark when Steve Moore converted Steve Settle’s cross.
Lee Blackshaw, on target against Clitheroe last weekend, grabbed the winner five minutes after half-time after running on to Steve Moore’s pass.
