Valley run is ended

SQUASH: 

Tame Valley had their nine-match winning run abruptly ended in the North-West Counties Squash League as they lost 3-2 to DW Sports 1st. Jamie Maddox and Amir Manachouri won for the local side.


The seconds, however, were in top form, crushing Hyde Cricket 3rd 5-0 thanks to Phil Wells, Gary Burton, Mike Donohue, Wayne Smith and Graham Hall.

Valley 3rd suffered a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of second-in-the-table Village Hyde 1st.
