Reporter: Mossley in confident mood

WITH five wins from their last six games, Mossley are the form team in UniBond League division one north.
That impressive run of results has hoisted the Lilywhites to a respectable 11th in the table.
And they will be confident of improving their recent record when lowly Harrogate Railway Athletic visit Seel Park tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).
A draw at Trafford on Tuesday thwarted Mossley’s attempt at six victories on the bounce. Chris McDonagh scored a hat-trick in that match, but his side were denied maximum points when the hosts equalised in the second minute of stoppage time.
OLDHAM Boro are in fine fettle for tomorrow’s home test against Norton United in division one of the Vodkat North-West Counties League (3pm).
A 1-0 win at Cheadle Town on Wednesday — Sean Roscoe converted an injury-time free-kick — lifted Tony Mills’ side to 14th in the table and above local rivals Chadderton.
Midfield pair Nick Murphy (calf injury) and Duncan Philbin (stitches on the bridge of his nose) are available again, so too striker Arnold Nsimbe, who missed the midweek clash because of work commitments.
But winger Will Buckley faces a late fitness check after taking a knock against Cheadle.
CHADDERTON are also in good heart for their trip to Ashton Town in NWCL division one (3pm).
Paul Buckley’s men produced a fine performance to beat Atherton Collieries 3-1 on Monday — and the Broadway outfit boss is looking for more of the same.
With John Rogers and Dave Glynn still absent through injury, Ben Greenidge and Danny Shaw are expected to continue in the heart of defence.
And Adam Edwards, who set up all three goals against Collieries, is in line to keep his place up front alongside James Curley and Leon Walters as Leon Melia is still struggling to overcome a bout of tonsillitis.
