AMATEUR RUGBY:
SADDLEWORTH RANGERS’ promotion hopes suffered a bruising as they were hammered 42-8 away at Bradford Dudley Hill in National Conference League division one.
Oldham St Anne’s kept on course for promotion by winning 44-10 at Eastmoor Dragons in division two, while Waterhead had no game.
Oldham Rugby Union earned an important point in North Lancs/Cumbria Division when they held Heaton Moor to a 5-5 draw.
