NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Leon Walters scored twice for Chadderton, who recorded a 4-2 win at Cheadle Town in division one of the Vodkat North-West Counties League last night.
The striker struck just before the half-hour mark and also with five minutes to go as Paul Buckley’s side bounced back in style from Saturday’s defeat at Ashton Town.
Adam Edwards doubled Chadderton’s lead after 42 minutes and James Curley added a third on the stroke of half-time.
Town responded with two goals from Aaron Riley in eight second-half minutes, but Walters made sure of victory late on.
