RU men on a roll

RUGBY UNION:

OLDHAM Rugby Union bid to extend their unbeaten run to five games in North Lancs/Cumbria Division tomorrow when they play host to Eccles.

Chris Pickles, Joe Hesse and Charlie Roscoe are unavailable but Paddy Farnan, Owen Davies and Steve Molloy are in the squad.

Eccles were promoted into this division this season and have done well, currently occupying fourth place.

However, Oldham will be hoping to maintain their recent improvement as they try to remain clear of the relegation zone.

On an important weekend for the club, the Vets/4th team travels to Orrell tomorrow for the semi-finals of the Raging Bull competition.

And, on Sunday (2pm), the under-14s are at home to Ashton-u-Lyne in the final of the Lancashire Bowl.
