Waiting game
Date published: 30 April 2010
AMATEUR RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers must wait to see if they have gained promotion to the premier division of the National Conference League.
A midweek 24-20 win for Normanton Knights against Heworth keeps alive the Wakefield side’s chance of nicking that coveted third promotion spot from Rangers, whose season is over.
Normanton are four points behind with three games in hand but have a far inferior points difference.
The Knights probably need to win all of their fixtures to go up, starting with a visit to Myton Warriors on Monday.
