AMATEUR RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers have clinched promotion to the National Conference League premier division.
Thatto Heath’s 78-16 thrashing of Normanton — the only team which could theoretically have overtaken Rangers in third — ensured that the Greenfield side will compete against the cream of the amateur game next season.
