RUGBY UNION: EIGHT teams of veterans take part in the Stuart Woodhead Trophy at Manor Park tomorrow (1pm to 4.30pm).
Ashton, Dukinfield, Sedgley Park, Littleborough RUFC, Oldham Veterans ‘A’ and ‘B’, Rochdale Mayfield and Alwinians battle it out in the touch rugby competition.
On Sunday (1pm to 4.30pm), eight teams will slug it out for the title of Oldham touch rugby champions. They are the Gareth Barber squad, Hollinwood RLFC, Dukinfield RUFC, Oldham Blue squad, Oldham Red squad, Richie Barber squad, Rochdale Mayfield and a Colin Garforth select seven.
Meanwhile, the club’s annual beer festival starts tonight and runs through until Sunday.
