GOLF:
OLDHAM enjoyed a 6-2 victory over Fairfield in the Oldham and District Rabbits League.
But their win was anything but comfortable as two matches went to the 18th hole and another to the 17th.
Dukinfield's 6-2 win over Stamford lifted them off bottom spot, while Houldsworth consolidated their position at the top of the table with an identical victory over second-placed Brookdale.
