CRICKET:WOODHOUSES will look for a return to winning ways in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League tomorrow when they host Denton St Lawrence.
Fielding errors led to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Denton West.
But skipper Mike Cassidy believes they can put more points on the board against West before travelling to Dukinfield in the Walkden cup 24 hours later.
He said: “Denton St Lawrence aren’t doing quite as well as people expected. Maybe they’ve lost a few players or just a bit of form. Either way, we’ll look to capitalise.
“They’ve got a point to prove as well so it should be an interesting game.”
