CRICKET: FORMER Everton star Duncan McKenzie is the guest speaker at Shaw Cricket Club’s sportsman’s dinner on Friday, June 11.
McKenzie, who will always be remembered as an entertainer both on and off the pitch, began his career at Nottingham Forest under Brian Clough, before moving to Leeds United and Everton. He also appeared for Anderlecht in Belgium, Blackburn Rovers and Chelsea.
This event is aimed at couples and will be a casual, relaxed and friendly evening with one of football’s true entertainers.
The event takes place at Uppermill Civic Hall, and the club are providing transport from Shaw to the venue for anyone who is interested.
