Eric Wilson hands the cup to jack
GOLF: CR0MPTON House pupil Jack Bottomley-Clift is no stranger to collecting trophies and the Crompton and Royton Golf Club member has added another to his already-impressive collection.
The Worthington Cup is presented to the Crompton House player of the year and school golf co-ordinator Eric Wilson had no hesitation in awarding it to Jack.
He said: "In the last 12 months, Jack has won the Oldham Chronicle Schools’ Golf Challenge, the Lancashire Schools’ under-15 title, was runner-up in the County Schools’ under-15 championship and has consistently competed in the County Schools Knock-out.
"He has made an outstanding contribution to schools’ golf."
