Sheer perfection by hot-shot Sue

GOLF: SUE Mangov-Jones achieved a hole in one during her halved match for Oldham in their 5-2 defeat against Bolton Lostock in the Lancashire Shield.

Using a rescue club on Lostock’s 127-yard, par-three 14th hole, Sue’s shot was judged to perfection.

Sue was one of two players to tie her match, Jane Antrobus being the other.

Oldham’s only winner was Sheila Antrobus, who raced to a 6 and 5 victory.
