MANZOOR Ellahi is in the mix for a once in a lifetime opportunity after winning last night’s ‘Speed Gun Challenge’ at Shaw Cricket Club.
The Woodhouses paceman beat off more than 30 other players to record the quickest time on the night, an impressive 82mph.
Ellahi now sits proudly at the top of the leaderboard in the competition organised by Sky Sports’ ‘Cricket AM’ programme.
The ‘Speed Gun Challenge” is visiting a host of local league clubs in the country to find the quickest bowler, with the overall winner getting the chance to bowl at two England batsmen.
