Cruse in control as Delph deliver

CRICKET: DELPH delivered a convincing victory in the Drakes Huddersfield League premiership.
Visitors Holmfirth recorded 162 for eight, with Matt Norvall claiming five for 39, before the hosts passed their target for the loss of one wicket, Bruce Cruse top-scoring with 71 not out.
Micklehurst remain bottom of the Frank Platt Championship after a home defeat to Lepton Highlanders.
They were dismissed for 137, the away side reaching their goal with one wicket down.
WOODHOUSES were beaten at Stand in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League division one.
The home team were bowled out for 230 but Woodhouses were still 50 runs short of the target when their last wicket fell.
Woodhouses will travel to Glossop in the Walkden Cup semi-final after beating Irlam.
Josh Tolley posted 126 as the hosts made 293 for eight, dismissing Irlam for 170.
However, Woodhouses are out of the Village Cup after a six-wicket defeat at Wrea Green.
