HEATHER Jeffries claimed the honours on WERNETH'S Lady Vice-Captain's day.

A score of 88-18-70 was enough to see her pick up the EWGA medal, clear by three shots from nearest challenger Vivien Leaver (100-27-73).

Joan Swindells (96-22-74) won the first division first sweep, with the second sweep a tie between Brenda Martin (100-24-76) and Sylvia Haq (91-15-76).

In the second division first sweep Sheila Lees (108-30-78) was triumphant, with nothing to separate Glynis Jones (111-32-79) and Dee Whittingham (111-32-79) in the second sweep.
